    The Matthew 25 Center is a non-profit Christian ministry located in Pender County, NC serving the needs of the families of inmates in area prisons and jails.  The Center provides free accommodations and support to families who travel great distances to visit their loved ones in prison.   The closest prison, Pender Correctional Institute, is located in Burgaw, but services are not limited to this facility.  The Center also serves the New Hanover Correctional Institute, the Brunswick Correctional Institute, the Duplin Correctional Institute, as well as the county jails in Pender, Onslow, New Hanover, Duplin and Brunswick Counties.
